Chirp Cafe Live Music Series Presents: A Night of Guitar with Mike Torres

With a lifetime of playing experience and material from ‘his journey,’ Mike Torres comes to the Art Cafe with music that has shaped and inspired his career.

“My thought was that it might be interesting to play examples of the writing and playing that started my life as a guitarist and continue to influence me to this day. I think the intimacy of this venue will enhance the personal connection I have with what we hear and perform.”

Mike Torres is a guitarist comfortable with many styles of music; years of studio work in NYC have left their mark. Mike will perform material from different genres and original compositions, all ranging from blues to reggae, jazz to Latin; spanning several generations of music.
