Chirp Cafe Live Music Series Presents: Ryan Zimmerman

Ryan Zimmerman is a Singer/Songwriter from Long Beach Island, NJ. He is a roots musician dedicated to his craft of songwriting and performing live. Ryan started his music career on the Jersey Shore where he currently calls home. An avid music fan and performer, Ryan draws his influences from early roots performers up to today’s consummate guitar players and songwriters. His rhythmic guitar style is reminiscent of Ritchie Havens and his deep room-filling voice summons Mark Sandman.

Ryan has entered the studio this spring to record his second full length album with Pete Steinkopf of the Bouncing Souls at the helm. The album is being recorded in Asbury Park, NJ and will be released this summer. A subsequent tour of both coasts will start in the Fall of 2019.

Ryan has toured extensively across the US, headlining his own events which he produces and promotes himself. He has also opened for the likes of Zach Deputy, The Hope Social Club, Michael Allman, American Trappist, and Marshall Crenshaw.
